Our Coaching Team —
Experience with a focus on your success.

Business people often struggle when they make live presentations to their clients, their team-members or their communities. We have developed proven strategies and techniques that help speakers create and deliver confident, powerful presentations that set them apart as top-notch communicators.

Tom Nixon founded Tom Nixon Design over 3 decades ago out of a desire to help others step outside their comfort zone and become the superstar presenters they were meant to be. Tom started out as a visual presentation designer (aka PowerPoint). He soon realized that he was providing a lot more coaching and guidance than he was creating slides.

He has worked with presenters at all levels — from CEOs and senior managers to TEDx presenters and even a pig farmer in South Georgia.

Tom lives in the Atlanta area with his wife, Shirley, and a misanthropic dog named Blue.

Kelly Vandever is both a world-class presentation coach, a top-tier presenter and a bad-ass Harley rider. She knows what it is like to build a killer presentation, put in the rehearsal time and then, feeling the butterflies, still deliver a powerful, inspiring speech. Kelly, a Navy vet, comes from an extensive corporate background of technical management and leadership training.

Plus she’s not afraid to to hit the road every year for some extended cross-country touring with her husband Rich, her dog Toto and their riding buddies.

Dan Jourdan

Dan Jourdan is a brilliant story-teller, energetic keynote speaker and flat-out funny humorist. He is uniquely equipped to coach business and organizational presenters who wish to rise above the typical mediocre business presentation and create meaningful experiences for their audiences.

Dan’s life skills methodology often bridges the gap between “what people think they should do” and “what really works.” His personal philosophy is a cross between Confucius and Robin Williams.

Dan has two grown children and lives in Atlanta with his wife Sharon.
